These Brands Are Helping L.A. Wildfire Victims Replace Furniture And Essentials

Wildfires in the Los Angeles area have destroyed more than 12,000 structures, displacing thousands of residents as of January 14, 2025. Many individuals who have lost nearly all of their belongings are now faced with the daunting task of starting over from scratch.

Fortunately, numerous brands are stepping up to support the victims of these devastating fires by providing assistance in setting up new homes. Below, you'll find a list of companies offering free furniture, decor and other essentials to those displaced or replacing items lost or damaged, along with additional links to useful resources.

It’s also a good idea to reach out to brands directly if you’ve recently made a purchase. Interior designer Alex Spielman of The Little Things has successfully helped replace some of her clients' lost items, particularly for children, who often face the greatest challenges in these situations.

She tells me, “In the wake of the devastating California wildfires, I’ve been reaching out to various brands on behalf of my clients to explore potential assistance. Encouragingly, many companies are offering replacements for lost items or issuing refunds to impacted families. I urge those affected by the LA wildfires to proactively reach out to brands they’ve purchased from and inquire about available support. While not all companies have publicly announced specific assistance programs, many are willing to work directly with customers to find solutions during this challenging time.”

This list will be updated as more brands continue to offer donations.
